We spent there only one night - but the hotel was very good.
nearness to yellowstone was important. Also I spent some time downtown and found it delightful,
The entrance did not look very well maintained. The breakfast was not well presented.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Indoor parking in Montana in January was a pleasant treat!
An older hotel in much need of refurbishment, trading on the Yellowstone name even though it is approximately 60 miles from the National Park. It was way overpriced at $143.38 inc taxes per night. Probably worth about $85 per night as a hotel close to the interstate. Breakfast was basic and breakfast staff were unfriendly. The coffee flask ran empty whilst we were in the room and even though the waitress was advised by at least 4 different people, she made no attempt to replenish it.
Welcoming, very nice staff, large and very clean rooms, good bedding, I appreciated the make-up remover towelettes, excellent breakfast
The hotel itself looks old and a little shabby, I must say we were a little disappointed, guest laundry far away in the indoor parking
The restaurant - food was great. Also, the beds were very comfortable.
They didn't have my reservation and were going to send me to another hotel but found a handicap room for me. When I was checking out the next day the morning staff wanted to research my reservation and found it in a stack of paper.
I wish there had been a hot tub for te adults while the children were swimming.
Comfortable inn, however a bit overpriced, >50 miles from the North Yellowstone Park Entrance. Hard to find parking place late night.
